President Donald Trump and his biggest political advocate Elon Musk have disbanded in 21st century ways with the most common people through their own social networks. And while many people predicted that the pair-up of the card mask would eventually turn sour, it’s worth trying to answer, “How did you get here?”
Until recently, Musk was a key figure in Trump’s inner circle. This connection has impacted the broader belts of government, particularly through organizations created by executive orders and advised by masks.
Musk, once at Trump’s Mar Arago Resort in Palm Beach, Florida, and at the White House, is now opposed to the president. Source of his dissatisfaction: One Big Beautiful Bill Act, 1,038 pages of law passed by the House of Representatives on May 22nd. I’m heading to the Senate now. This is the next step in the path of the bill to become law.
A few days later, Trump retracted Jared Isaacman’s nomination, a mask pick for Nasa’s head. But even at the end of the month, Trump and Musk were openly successful.
The atmosphere has changed this week.
“Sorry, I can’t stand it anymore,” Musk wrote on X on Tuesday. “This massive, outrageous, pork-filled Congressional expenditure bill is a nasty hatred. I’m embarrassed by those who voted for it. I know you were wrong. You know that.”
The bill is presented as an effort to cut taxes and invest in American businesses. However, the Congressional Budget Office (CBO) estimates that the bill will increase national debt by $2.4 trillion over a decade, while reducing taxes by $4 trillion. This impact on the country’s existing debt crisis includes two Republican senators, Rand Paul (R-KY) and Ron Johnson (R-WI), who have infiltrated the party’s stance to oppose the current state bill.
The impact of the bill is enormous. Among many other effects, it removes taxes from Social Security income, tips and overtime pay. The bill also significantly cuts federal health programs such as Medicaid and Snap. The CBO estimates that by 2034, around 11 million people will be short on health insurance by a significant cut in federal health programs.
The bill will also act on the effects of Trump’s tax cuts and employment from his first term on a permanent basis, but economists have found that these cuts benefit the wealthiest Americans more than the poorest. Additional tax cuts in Trump’s new bill are also expected to benefit wealthy families than those in need.
Musk is not wrong when some representatives who voted for the bill say they already regret it. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA) admits that he has not read the 1,000-page bill in full and regrets supporting it as it hinders the individual’s condition regulating AI for the next decade.
The conflict between Trump and Musk escalated further Thursday when the president was asked about the rejection of the Tesla and SpaceX leader’s bill.
Trump claims Musk is deeply familiar with the bill’s plans, but reacted when he learned that it would have a negative impact on his business.
“He only had problems when he learned he had to cut down on EV mandates,” Trump noted a policy that encourages the production and sales of electric vehicles like Tesla makes. “That’s billions of dollars.”
Musk went on to claim that Trump only won the election for his help.
“Without me, Trump would lose the election, Dems would take control of the House and Republicans would be 51-49 in the Senate,” Musk said in X.
The two entrepreneurs continue to create jabs for each other on their respective social media platforms, which is escalating.
“Elon ‘wears thin,’ I asked him to leave, I removed his EV delegation. He made everyone buy an electric car that no one else wanted (he knew for months I was trying to do it!), and he just got hooked! ” Trump wrote about the true society.
In another post, Trump added: “The easiest way to save money on a budget – billions, billions of dollars, is to end Elon’s government subsidies and contracts. I’ve always been surprised that Biden didn’t do that!”
Musk posted a screenshot of Trump’s post, adding that he would abolish SpaceX’s dragon spaceship as a result of the president’s statement.
Musk continues the barrage of the X post against the president, and he spent $288 million to support the election. Musk then accused Trump of belonging to Epstein’s files, referring to Jeffrey Epstein’s sexual exploitation of children. Trump has not responded to the allegations.
Musk also declared that Trump’s tariffs will cause a recession later this year, and he posted an agreement with another user’s post that he should be bounced each Trump.
Public Fighting has launched a desperate level of X, popcorn emojis, meme posts that declared “girls are fighting,” but the fallout between the world’s wealthiest person and the sitting US president promises to have a broader impact on the tech industry.
Following Trump’s lead, other tech billionaires have donated to Trump’s inauguration funds, including Meta founder Mark Zuckerberg, Google CEO Sundar Pichai, Amazon founder Jeff Bezos, Openai CEO Sam Altman and Apple CEO Tim Cook. Trump’s policy already has a negative impact on some of these companies by enforcing heavy tariffs on international imports.
