After the music industry presented its prestigious Grammy Awards last Sunday, Oscar is gearing up to build a film on Center Stage next month.
The 97th Academy Awards are less than a month after the best films of 2024 are respected along with the people behind them.
Academy of Motion Pictures Arts and Sciences announced its Oscar nominee last month. This includes a wide range of films, ranging from the nearly four-hour historic drama The Brutalist to the fantasy music blockbuster Wicked.

The pack leads in most nominations is Netflix Crime Musical’s “Emilia Pérez.” This is the film that won the headlines for resurrecting comments by star and best actress candidate Karla Sofía Gascón. The 52-year-old Spanish actor said he regrets several social media posts, including Oscar Muslims, George Floyd and people expressing controversial views on diversity.

Several other film award shows will be ahead of the Oscars on Sunday, February 8th, including the PGA Award (honoring producers) and the DGA Award (honoring) and the DGA Award (producer) and the DGA Award.
