Who was Dutton in “1923”?
“1923” follows the generation of Dutton, led by patriarch Jacob and patriarch Kara, played by Harrison Ford and Helen Mirren, respectively.
Jacob and Carla Dutton are the ancestors of the current owner and patriarch John Dutton (Kevin Coston), the owner of the Yellowstone Dutton Ranch, and Jacob is a brother to James Dutton, who in 1883 he was Tim He is the brother of James Dutton, a settler, played by McGraw.
