
Tyra Banks has revealed that her Los Angeles home was destroyed in the California wildfires.
The “America’s Next Top Model” star appeared on the Australian morning show “Sunrise” on Monday and opened up about her devastation.
Banks was discussing expanding her ice cream business, Smith’s & Dream, as she prepared to open a store in Sydney, but the conversation quickly turned to the Los Angeles bushfires.
“We don’t really talk about it, but yes, we do,” Banks said. We haven’t talked much about it yet, but I can’t sit here and not tell you the truth. Yes, we lost our home. ”

Banks, 51, is one of many celebrities who lost their homes in the Los Angeles wildfires, including Heidi Montag, Mel Gibson, Joshua Jackson and Paris Hilton.
The model and TV personality revealed she was at a friend’s house in Australia with her boyfriend Louis Bélanger-Martin when she discovered the item.
“We were celebrating and just having fun. I kept checking on my phone, not my home, just my friends and family, to see if they were evacuated, etc.,” she said. Ta.
After the couple learned their home had been destroyed in a fire, Banks said she didn’t say anything to friends, saying she was “just getting back on her feet.”
“I just stayed in the moment and then went home and cried and lived in the moment,” she said.
Although she lost some memorabilia, her most sentimental items are kept in her homes in Australia and New York.
“Thank God I didn’t lose it,” she said. “But yeah, it’s tough.”
