Know Lee
Jae Lee is co-founder and CEO of Twelvelabs, a pioneering company that builds cutting-edge multimodal foundation models that allow developers and businesses to extract deep insights from complex video data. Under his leadership, Twelvelabs is redefineing the way machines understand videos. This unlocks new possibilities across the industry, from media to security to enterprise intelligence. Before establishing Twelvelabs, Lee served as the lead data scientist for the South Korean Ministry of Defense, where he applied machine learning to national agendas. He also gained industry experience as a software engineering intern on both Amazon and Samsung, building a strong foundation at the intersection of AI, data and scalable infrastructure.
Lee holds a bachelor’s degree in computer science from Berkeley, California, and has returned to the university from the event, beginning a journey of technology and entrepreneurship.
