We are pleased to announce that Tanka Founder and CEO Kisson Lin will be taking part in an interview entitled “Your Next Co-Founder Become AI.” She is one of many outstanding speakers to attend the event on June 5th at Zerabach Hall in Barclays, California, and there is still plenty of time to register to be seated at the table.
If you don’t know Lin yet, her company will power AI messengers with self-learning and evolving long-term memories with the team. Before establishing Tanka, Lin worked for several high-tech giants, including Meta, which was based in Singapore, and worked for Tiktok from Beijing.
She is also a repeat entrepreneur who previously co-founded Mindverse AI and as the company’s COO, she helped develop products that include Me.bot, an AI note-taking app with memory capabilities, and the AI agent operating system.
In fact, Lin, who holds a Masters degree in Data Science and Business Statistics from Hong Kong China University, has built an impressive career at the intersection of AI, memory systems and team collaboration tools. The self-proclaimed “long-time neuroscience enthusiast and amateur science fiction writer” is particularly fascinated by how memory shapes intelligence, a passion that directly informs Tanka’s approach to AI.
TechCrunch Sessions: In AI, Lin discusses how Tanka’s AI memory technology can make teams more efficient. This is a model that has strong meaning for solo founders looking to compete with large organizations. (Since the beta was released in October 2024, Tanka says that users have already saved 111 working days equivalents through smart replies generated by the platform’s AI.)
But she will also be speaking more widely about some of the tools and processes that allow solopreneurs to build large companies without large teams and without excessive venture capital.
The interview is part of a broader program featuring top AI leaders, including humanity co-founder Jared Kaplan, Databricks co-founder, Professor Ion Stoica, UC Berkeley, and Deepmind’s senior product manager Logan Kilpatrick.
