
Serena Williams attended the Super Bowl halftime show to show that she “don’t like us.”
She was born in Michigan, but Williams is a crew member in Compton, California, and is in the same town as halftime performer Kendrick Lamar. The Grammy-winning rapper headlining one of the biggest performances on television, confirming his fellow Comptunitive will be with him for the show.
When Lamar performed the hit-is track “Not Ilo Us,” Williams also performed the signature clip walk, featured in the song’s music video.
It is known that Williams is grateful for his hits. At the 2024 ESPY Awards she hosted, she danced “I don’t like us” during the show, taking some shots with Drake.
“If we learn anything this year, then it’s that none of us should choose to fight Kendrick Lamar,” she said. “He’s going to make your hometown not like you. The next time Drake is sitting courtside in the Raptors game, they’re pounding him and taking his seat.”

He wasn’t the only star to attend the halftime show, as actor Samuel L. Jackson was the narrator during the show and singer SZA also sang alongside Kendrick.

Williams posted a video on social media saying, “I would have been fined for not doing a clip-walk like Wimbledon.” She also shared another video of her clothes during the performance.
