USA Today’s favorite pet contest has come to a fun conclusion. We are thrilled to announce the winners chosen by Judge Peggy and her family.
Goats are not the only wells that mean “water” in Japanese people. He is the beloved family of Ace Lopez and his family. Around two and a half years, Mizu enjoys playing with the children of his family and taking long walks with them. His job on the farm is to prepare and fertilize the lawn, but he also loves to indulge in sweet treats. His favorite is strawberries.
Optics has a special bond with Lopez. “He always follows me everywhere. He’s always spoiled. He makes me polish my hair.
“If you are happy, the goat is happy. If you are sad, the goat actually looks down and it’s like “Pet Me.” So it’s an energy exchange,” Lopez said. Goats, but being around them is really interesting. ”
The family of British dog actress Peggy, who starred as Dogpool in the 2024 film Deadpool & Wolverine, selected the winner from over 20,000 entries from across the country. The Florida pet owner led the pack and submitted 6,325 entries. Next was Ohio State with 2,582 and Michigan State with 2,347. Entries came from all 50 states and the District of Columbia.

Nominations ranged from species sequences. The dog led with 15,645 entries, followed by cats, birds, reptiles, snakes and rabbits. The list also included a variety of rodents, spiders, pigs, goats, cows, raccoons, hedgehogs, crabs, and more.
Chloe is the most popular name, with 105 entries followed by Daisy, Bella, Charlie and Luna.
As winners of USA’s favorite pet contest, Mizu’s family receives $5,000 in cash, $5,000 in gift cards from their favorite pet stores, and $5,000 in Georgetown, Texas, an animal charity chosen by Lopez. Donations will be made to Living Grace Canine Ranch. Additionally, Mizu will be featured on USA Today, celebrating a special bond between a pet and its owner.
