Rippling’s latest lawsuit doesn’t read much like a legal filing, but it does read like a plot of a corporate spy thriller with secret crypto payments, suspects and fake slack channel traps.
This week, the HR Tech startup publicly appointed an employee at the centre of the lawsuit against rival Deel, claiming that the company paid him a total that does not exist to spy from within. Deal, in part, denying the allegations, calling this a dramatic distraction from Ripling’s own legal issues.
