Fans of the Columbus Blue Jacket and the Chicago Blackhawks were impressed with game tickets at the national arena on Saturday night.
During a halt midway through the first period, fans were told about Johnny Gaudreau Jr. celebrating his first birthday. The arena video board cut into shots of him and his mom, Meredith, and watched the building game with other families.
Fans were asked by Johnny Jr. to sing Happy Birthday, and the entire arena was willing to be mandated by the youngest of Johnny Gordrow’s two children. It has been almost six months since Johnny Gordrow was killed along with his brother Matthew while riding his bike near his home in Salem County, New Jersey.

The stop began with approval of Blue Jacket defender Zach Welensky’s performance. As the tournament scoring leader, he scored six points with six assists in the 4 Nations face-off tournament. Games at TD Garden in Boston.

Gaudreau’s No. 13 jersey was exhibited in the US locker room throughout the tournament and was awarded to the team’s team players after the victory and worn by honorary captain Mike Eruzione before the championship game. “Johnny Hockey!” Chants rang throughout the arena during the championship game.
