Google has launched a new subscription plan called Google AI Ultra, providing more AI products under one roof.
The new plan, announced at Google I/O 2025 on Tuesday, will provide “highest level of access” to Google’s AI-powered apps and services, Tech Giant says. AI Ultra comes with a price of $249.99 per month, and includes Google’s VEO 3 video generator, the company’s new flow video editing app, and a powerful AI feature called Gemini 2.5 Pro Deep Think Mode (not yet launched).
“For those who want to be at the absolute cutting edge of Google’s AI (Ultra)” said during a press conference.
AI Ultra is currently only in the US, but is part of the Ultra-Premium AI subscription growth group. At the end of last year, Openai unveiled the ChatGpt Pro. This is a monthly plan where ChatGPT rate limits increased and certain exclusive features increased. Humanity followed suit with Claude Max a few months later.
Google wants to throw a lot of extras and sweeten the pot.
In addition to Flow, Veo 3, and Gemini 2.5 Pro Deep Think, AI Ultra has Google’s Notebook LM platform and Whisk limitations, and its image remix app. AI Ultra subscribers can also access certain “agent” tools with 30TB storage from Google, YouTube Premium, Google Drive, Google Photos, and Gmail’s Gemini chatbots from Chrome.
One of these agent tools is Agent mode, which will arrive “soon” on your desktop. Google says that Agent Mode can browse the web, run research and integrate with Google apps to handle specific tasks.
In line with the debut of AI Ultra, Google is replacing its old Google One AI Premium plan with Google AI Pro. AI Pro includes products such as the Gemini app, known as Flow, Notebooklm, and Gemini Advanced.
AI Pro subscribers can also meet in English and Spanish with flow and early access to Gemini in Chrome, as well as real-time voice translations on Google (with additional languages). Speech translation available to AI Ultra customers in Google Meet transforms spoken words into the language of listeners’ preferences, while maintaining audio, tone and expression.
