Cryptocurrency exchange Bybit has announced Bybit Card QR Pay, a new payment feature designed to streamline transactions and improve the user experience for Bybit Card users in Brazil.
The solution leverages the Pix payment system and offers real-time transfers and lower transaction fees.
Bybit Card QR Pay is said to give Bybit Card users access to a fast and seamless way to transact, with lower fees, instant processing, and compatibility with a vast network of merchants that support Pix .
To use Bybit Card QR Pay, cardholders in Brazil can scan a QR code using the QR scanner in the Bybit app.
This integration provides a new level of convenience for everyday transactions while maintaining the card’s existing spending limits.
This service is only available to users transacting in Brazilian Real (BRL) and is required to complete Level 1 Identity Verification for security reasons.
According to a company statement, Bybit also encourages new users in Brazil with a welcome offer.
By depositing 100 USDT, new Bybit card users will receive a benefit of 150 BRL.
Joan Han, Bybit Sales and Marketing Director, said: “Bybit Card QR Pay is a game changer for users in Brazil. This feature will redefine people’s everyday payment experience with seamless integration and lightning-fast transactions.
“We are proud to offer this innovative solution to a market where speed and convenience are essential.”
In June 2024, Bybit’s Bybit Card added Apple Pay for its customers.
This feature provides a secure and private way to pay at checkout when purchasing cryptocurrencies using the Bybit app or website.
“Crypto exchange Bybit launches QR Pay for users in Brazil” was originally created and published by Electronic Payments International, a brand owned by GlobalData.
