We have now formally crossed over to a land of deliberate foolishness.
Seriously, what are we doing here?
It’s one thing to do the right thing so that they can get the image and likeness of their name. Take it a step further by providing free player movements.
Do you share media rights income? That’s definitely not a problem.
But I draw lines in a tax-free shelter. And everyone involved in university sports also includes the shaking of state government pandaring pom poms that players have determined should not be taxed on zero income.
Georgia has proposed a bill to eliminate a 5.49% state income tax on NIL income. And it’s no surprise that state Alabama followed, as Georgia did it.
And you believe that most of the SEC will also be the case.

However, this line in the sand that must be drawn now has nothing to do with the millions of taxes that occur in nil transactions. Good, important.
This is much deeper. That’s not what we give young people to play sports.
It’s about what we’re taking away.
What kind of message do you send to a young man, 18 years old? Whoever has been told over and over again since elementary school, will their talents and abilities take them where their parents can dream of?
Life is their oysters, and they are the permanent perfect pearls inside.
Until they aren’t.
Until they’re a part of 98.4% of college football players who ultimately don’t reach the NFL. Until those years until the excuses for failure (free players’ movements) suddenly squealing halt, avoiding the truth of a tough life, making the path easier (no tax excuses);
After that, someone has to get a job. Then you have to work in a society where someone doesn’t care who you are or what you can do.
And if you can’t do that, we move on to the next where we can.
There are no free passes or special treatments. Don’t bend backwards to do everything you can to make sure life works in relation to your schedule. The complete absurdity of that.
Frankly, this inaccurate life idea for university athletes as well as the intentional stupidity of the adults in the room (parents, high school coaches, university coaches, university presidents, NCAA) I’ve created it.
And why a soccer game?
Growing men and women in Georgia and Alabama legislatures are about to pass bills to hand out tax-free candies like four-year Halloween vendors. And I think who’s standing there, the bag opens wide, accepting another giveaway, and another avoidance of responsibility.
When athletes receive an approved transaction (the first idea of a nil transaction) as professionals, they are taxed on the money. This is how life works.
But these pom poms in the state government dream of another championship, these fans want to eliminate all the senses off the field for the younger men – excluding 2% of them By building a bulletproof bubble that doesn’t last.
When an 18-year-old football player enters college, this is what he enters (this is not a complete list):
– Fully funded scholarships including rooms and boards, tuition fees and books.
– Health insurance, dental insurance, disability insurance (in the case of a career termination injury).
– Elite training and development from top coaches and sports nutritionists.
– Full-time, on-demand academic tutoring.
– Competitive salaries begin with the emergence of play salaries from July 1st.
– Unguaranteed transaction.
– Free movement from school to school.
And now, with the state legislatures in Georgia and Alabama, let’s give them more. Only they are taking it.
They’re stripping accountability and responsibility, and when the majority of players are looking for answers to life, what should they rely on in 4 or 5 years?
Long-standing pandering and protection.
Once I said it, I said it thousands of times, I said it thousands of times, College education isn’t that much about playing books smart, or in this case football. . And survive and thrive.
You have the budget to pay rent, pay bills. Prepare food and wash clothes. Wake up every morning with plans and objectives and meet deadlines.
And now these dopes in Georgia and Alabama want the pom pom to wave a lot and do more damage.
Seriously, what are we doing here? We send young men cruelly and hard to the world with the idea that it’s easy and easy.
And why a soccer game?
