Colleen Hoover has returned to Instagram.
The bestselling author reverted the lights on her account on Wednesday after temporarily deactivating amid the legal fires surrounding the recent film adaptation of her book “It Endy with us.”
In particular, many of the posts featuring Blake Lively or Justin Bardoni appeared in the film and then denounced each other’s misconduct and caused disputes in several different courts.

The account was scrubbed from evidence from a promotional tour of the film held last summer. The only mention of the film can be seen further in posts starting July 7, 2023. It features a Hollywood Reporter headline about the film’s release date.
The highly anticipated film “It Ending with Us” is a widely popular novel and its romance with surgeon Ryle Kincaid becomes abusive. The film’s message, which aims to tell a more personal and subtle story of domestic abuse, was instead consumed by the drama surrounding its lead role.
