It’s very similar to Google’s Groundhog Day. The tech giant has already lost one big antitrust case and is currently facing another large case, but the latest trials have several twists, including Openai executive Nick Tarley, who testifies this week that he is interested in buying chrome if his company is on sale (that’s not).
Meanwhile, Meta’s antitrust calculations are also hot, with regulators asking if past acquisitions like Instagram and Whatsapp robbed them of competition before they robbed them.
Today, on TechCrunch’s equity podcast, Kirsten Korosec, Max Zeff and Anthony HA are digging into this week’s headlines, from browsers and searches to AI and social.
