Auburn returned to the top after beating the Archbishop of Alabama. The Tigers claim all 1st place in 31st place, with Crimson Tide’s stint in 1st place lasting just a week.
The vote for No. 2 was more suspenseful. For now, Florida is second, finishing just eight points ahead of Duke. The second-place ranking is the best season for the Gators, and their best position since the stint, number one, which appeared in the recent Final Four in the second half of the 2014 season. Duke in turn, with Alabama in first place ahead of 12th, with the Tide in fourth, and after a weekend win on a big road in Arizona, Houston rose the Notch to fifth.
