Ark Invest has revised its Bitcoin price forecast significantly, predicting it could rise to $2.4 million by the end of 2030. This represents a $1.5 million increase from the previous Bull Case target.
According to ARK research analyst David Puell, the company currently estimates Bitcoin’s Bear and Base Case scenarios at $500,000 and $1.2 million, respectively.
These forecasts are based on a variety of factors valued at around $200 trillion, including Bitcoin’s gross addressable market (TAM) and penetration within the broader financial environment.
Puer noted that institutional investment is the main driver behind the bullish outlook, with a potential penetration rate of 6.5% in financial markets. Furthermore, Bitcoin’s status as a “safe shelter” asset in emerging markets contributes to its appeal as it provides protection against inflation and currency devaluation.
The report highlights that if Bitcoin reaches its forecast price range of $2.4 million, its market capitalization will skyrocket to $49.2 trillion, surpassing the current US and China GDP. This valuation could potentially overtake Bitcoin at a market capitalization of $22.5 trillion.
Despite its ambitious goals, even lower estimates of ARK need BITCOIN to grow at an annual growth rate of 32% in the BEAR case and 53% in the base case by 2030. Bitcoin recently rebounded from its $75,160 low in 2025, trading around $93,704 in writing.
