Ellis, the nominal “Bachelor” on season 29 of “The Bachelor,” was first featured on Jen Tran’s season of “The Bachelorette” (season 21). Things didn’t work out between the two, but that didn’t deter Ellis. Ellis is taking another chance to find love on this season of “The Bachelor.”
Grant becomes the second Black man to lead “The Bachelor” since the show premiered in 2002. In June 2020, Matt James was cast as the first Black Bachelor.
