The US President Donald Trump threatens to attack the Federal Emergency Administration Bureau, known as FEMA, and completely dismantle the organization.
A visit on Friday, when Hurricane hit a fierce North Carolina, Trump announced that it would sign that “FEMA will start a fund fundamental reform and overhaul or start a process to remove FEMA.”
Instead of government agencies, the Republican members proposed to transfer the burden of disaster management to the state.
“I think that the problem should be taken care of by state when there is a problem in the state,” said Trump at a press conference on Friday.
“That’s what we have a nation. They take care of the problem, and the governor can handle something very quickly.”
Despite the reporter’s repeated questions, Trump was blurred on his proposed change timeline to FEMA.
However, Friday’s remarks continued to attack the government agency and the former Democratic Party President Joe Biden, a former former Democratic Party President, in the wake of Hurricane Helen.
On September 26, a powerful category 4 storm attacked the Big Bend area of Florida. However, even after it landed, it destroyed a part of Georgia, North Carolina and Tennessee and continued to plow the north.
Hurricane brought record rainfall, floods, and tornadoes, leaving a place like Ashville, North Carolina, killing more than 200 people.
North Carolina was one of the seven important swings in the 2024 election, when Trump won.
A few days after the disaster, Trump spread the wrong information about Videnn -led disaster response. False claims, including the Federal Relief Workers refused to serve the Republican residents.
FEMA later reported that there was a threat to the staff, which was hindering the door -to -door -type wellness check in the western part of North Carolina. Later, President Biden accused the wrong information as “non -American.”
“President Trump led this lie attack,” he said in October.
However, Trump continued to hinder his claim that the disaster response in North Carolina was at best, including his first speech reference on Monday.
On Friday, he once again criticized both FEMA and Biden and accused the recovery pace.
“FEMA was a huge disappointment, and they spend a huge amount of money. It’s very bureaucratic, and it’s very slow,” said Trump at some point.
Another person, he assaulted to the Democratic Party’s predecessor. “Biden did a bad job. Some residents do not have hot water or drinking water. Many of them do not have a quarter, they have nothing.”
He also traveled to Southern California in the second half of the day. There, the wildfire continues to destroy the Los Angeles and the surrounding areas in a dry state.
He emphasized that California, including implementing the identification of voters, would take conditions for disaster assistance in the Democratic state.
Trump states that such measures are needed to prevent the fraud of voters, which is a favorite topic, but critics are qualified to vote but cannot buy ID cards. Or claims that it can raise the barriers of US citizens who cannot access.
On the roadside, when Trump’s motor card passed in the western part of North Carolina, a small group of demonstrations gathered to protest the president’s climate change policy. They pointed out that the climate crisis had worsened extreme weather phenomena, such as hurricanes and fire.
