A cryptic tweet from Taylor Swift’s marketing team, Taylor Nation, has left fans confused. “Help me with Valentine’s Day gift ideas for my lover π”.
Fans on Instagram and TikTok have been wondering about the date for “Reputation (Taylor’s Version)” as it relates to the Swifties’ chant of “1…2…3…let’s go” in front of everyone. I expected the announcement to be made on Thursday morning. They performed the album’s song “Delicate” at the concert.
Instead, at noon ET, our internal marketing account announced, “What’s the secret to remaining someone’s lover? Surprise them with a #LoverCardigan! π Available for 72 hours or while supplies last.”
At $70 per sweater, the white and pink heart knits join the singer’s collection of cardigans for the album. “Folklore”, “Red (Taylor Edition)”, “1989 (Taylor Edition)”, “Speak Now (Taylor Edition)”, “Midnight”, “Tortured Poets Division”.

Swift’s team is making a big push into “lover” spending ahead of the Valentine’s Day season. On January 7th, her merchandising team re-released the heart-shaped record “Lover (Live From Paris)”.
The two eight-song flat discs sold out within an hour of posting, and the record reached No. 1 on Billboard Top Album Sales. According to Billboard, this puts the Elas Tour singer ahead of Jay-Z for most No. 1 albums (15 of his albums topped the chart, compared to his 14).
