TechCrunch is joining forces with Vivatech, the largest startup in Europe and high-tech event, to select the famous Vivatech Innovation of the Year startup at Vivatech 2025.
The Vivatech Innovation of the Year Award will showcase and celebrate startups at Vivatech 2025 that show outstanding innovation, advanced technological capabilities and key potential to revolutionize their respective industries.
TechCrunch will curate a list of top 30 candidates, appoint a ju umpire to help select the final top five, and will join Vivedch on June 11th along with the ju umpire at the final prize presentation. On June 12th, TechCrunch will also serve as the official host of the Vivatech Global Awards Commession, with the five Vivatech Award winners being announced, providing an introduction to the ceremonial masters, a transition to the awards and closing the deadline.
The five finalists will receive a valuable opportunity to pitch at the Vivatech stage on June 11th, introduce them to venture capitalists, enjoy exclusive networking with ju umpires, achieve high visibility across the Vivatech marketing channel, and receive two additional 4-day passes to join Vivatech 2025.
The Innovation of the Year Award winners will secure the highly competitive Startup Battlefield 200 location due to their eligibility for publication at TechCrunch’s flagship annual event held in San Francisco in October 2025.

It must be an exhibition startup at Vivatech 2025, established in 2020, with less than 50 employees, less than 50 finalists – June 4th finalists pitch session – June 11th Vivatech Global Awards Cermeals – June 12th
