Apple Music presents a new “Audio Wellness” collection of songs called Sound Therapy. Designed in partnership with Universal Music Group (UMG), this feature combines songs that subscribers already know, along with other sound waves that promote focus, relaxation and sleep.
The song includes hearing heartbeat, colored noise and sound waves. This wave has different intensity at different frequencies, classified by color. For example, pink noise, a similar variation to rain and wind, can be combined with delta waves to promote sleep.

Meanwhile, the focus category in healthy therapy utilizes gamma hearing beats combined with white noise. And the relaxing group songs use theta auditory beats to promote winding up and letting go.
The collection features songs that listeners already know, such as artists like Imagine Dragons, Katy Perry, Kacee Mus Graves, Ludovico Inaudi, Aurora, Geneaiko, Chelsea Cutler, and Jeremy Zucker. These tracks have been expanded instrumental versions by producers and audio engineers of UMG’s Music Wellness Venture, known as London-based Soros.
This addition will feature on the recently released Apple Music Chill Radio Station, offering a sound that is also scattered with mindful moments and calming stories.
