Meghan Markle has launched a new podcast entitled “Confessions of a Female Founder” and will hear the Duchess talk about her entrepreneurial journey. People Magazine also presents a talk about the reality of building a business with other female founders. The show premiered on Lemonda Media on April 8th and will feature eight episodes.
“I’ve had candid conversations with some amazing women who have transformed their dreams into reality, and have expanded small ideas into a hugely successful business,” she announced on Instagram. “They open up, share their tips, tricks (and falls), and make them choose their brains when I build my own business.”
The idea for the female founder podcast is not novel, but that’s not a surprising move from Markle as she continues to build her post-royal business empire.
She is still in the process of launching a lifestyle brand and is accompanied by her new Netflix show, “With Love, Meghan.” Markle previously spoke to People Magazine about the challenges she has faced in the same way as before, including the trademark issue with the brand’s original name, American Riviera Orchard. Markle cut an angel check last year at the G9 Summer Summit, the Powerhouse Hamptons Networking Conference hosted by G9 Ventures founder Amy Griffin, and was discovered last year.
Meanwhile, Prince Harry has also dabbled in the startup world, serving as Chief Impact Officer for Better Up for Wellness Company, giving him an address at this year’s upcoming summit on the use of technology in driving global change. The duo recently hired Meredith Maines, a former Lightspeed Ventures marketing partner, to lead the communications.
