It wasn’t about protecting women’s sports.
The same people who used defensive women as covers to erase young people and handfuls of transgender athletes from NCAA sports would be to earn money for Nir (name, image, portrait) subject to Title IX I rolled back the guidance I had been doing.
To make it plain English, the Trump administration has given schools permission to ignore rules that require fair treatment for female athletes. In that case.
But for trans athletes, continue on with everything cisgender women have “lost” them.
“Title IX says nothing about how revenue-generating track and field programs should allocate student-athletes compensation,” said Craig Trainer, director of Civil Rights.
Title IX also says nothing about how to define sex, but it doesn’t stop Transforbes and Trumpians from trying to use it as udgel for transgender athletes.
Much of what’s going on is meant to be a distraction from realizing that someone is stabbing you with courage. The obsession with transgender women in sports was nothing more than a license to witch hunts, atrocities. Ah, supporters portray their causes as noble and style themselves to stand up for women and female athletes.
But what about the issues that actually cause harm to women? They are nowhere to be found, the volume that speaks their silence.
On Wednesday, legislation was proposed in both the House and Senate to close the loophole that would allow schools to skirt Title IX. A 2022 USA Today review found that every dollar school spent travel, equipment and recruiting boys teams, they spent 71 cents on comparable women’s teams.
In just two years, up to $125 million more was spent on men than women in basketball, baseball and softball, golf, soccer, swimming, diving and tennis.
The school also manipulates the roster to make it seem like it’s counting compliance, double count athletes and male practice athletes. They ignore legitimate requests to add opportunities for participation.
“The Fair Play for Women Act will bolster Title IX enforcement, bringing real transparency to college and K-12 track and field, ensuring that every girl gets the same shot as her male peers.” In the announcement of the law co-hosted in the House by Lori Trahan, D-Massachusetts, Suzanne Bonamici, D-Regon and Democratic Sens. Chris Murphy and Richard Blumenthal, Connecticut and Ron Wyden of Oregon.
Have Republicans succumbed to hell to “protect” the “protect” of women’s sports co-hosted Congress? Or will you support it when many of these same lawmakers make proposals during the final session? Is Riley Gaines lobbying for this law using her megaphone? Or do you protest avoiding Title IX by getting blessings to get school blessings and providing additional benefits to male athletes in the form of male money?
Athletes who have invested much of their time, energy and venom targeting transgender women are worried that their schools will actually take away opportunities and reduce safety?
Of course, the answer to all of these questions is no.

President Donald Trump also wants to sabotage the Department of Education. These include complaints about sports inequality, as well as sexual assault and harassment on campus.
If you are honest about protecting women, it’s kind of a big thing.
But that wasn’t what this was. And all those who took part in the hateful chorus because they don’t know or fear a changing world.
History shows that the elimination of one marginalized group does not end hatred. It inflates it. It’s now the people of colour and transgender men and women at the intersection. But as the NIL decision shows, it is ultimately all women and your support in disenfranchising others will do nothing to protect yourself.
