The Chicago Cubs will be the first MLB team to begin training at a facility in Mesa, Arizona when the pitchers and catchers arrive on February 9th. Cubs and Los Angeles Dodgers (February 11, Glendale, Arizona) It’s a little earlier than most people as they will be performing the 2025 regular season opening series in Tokyo from March 18-19.

When will the spring training game begin?
The Cubs and Dodgers will begin their spring training exhibit schedule on Thursday, February 20th at the Dodgers’ home park in Glendale, Arizona.
The next day – Friday, February 21st – will have five games on the schedule, with another Dodgers-Cubs matchup at Cubbies’ Home Park in Mesa, Arizona.
